Russia has proposed that the next round of talks with US and Ukraine should take place around the 10th of November. Ukraine is trying to speed it up by at least one week, which likely be before the US midterms. Zelensky said that Ukraine is not neutral and should not be neutral and has also underlined the fact that “nobody can impose limits on Ukraine’s armed forces size”. He made it clear that the discussion about territory will only take place at the level of leaders. According to some media reports, Russia might ask the US for NATO to roll back to it’s 1997 borders in terms of troops and personnel. Europe seems to be getting closer to designating an envoy for the talks with Russia. Alexander Vucic has conceded defeat in serial to the Student List and also there is speculation that the US is promoting Viktor Orban as the next UN Secretary General.
