I do not believe that Jeffrey Sachs thinks “both sides believe their own version”. Hypocrisy is reflexive and instinctive in NATO.

“Jeffrey Sachs”’s  argument is that “NATO allies” will insist on becoming “nuclear powers” themselves if NATO does not “call Putin’s bluff”!! Of course it may not be a bluff, so be afraid of that too!!
